Why not use some of the materials below to support the campaign.
Contact your MP
Let your MP know why you’re concerned about the Welfare Reform Bill and cuts to local services.
We have created a lobby pack which includes a template letter. The letter covers key areas that we’re concerned about. However, your letter will have the most impact if you are able to personalise it as much as possible. Hearing your personal stories is what will stick in the minds of MPs as they consider these crucial issues.
MP lobby pack with template letter
You can find the name of your local MP at: www.theyworkforyou.com
Write to them at: House of Commons London SW1A 0AA
Find an email at: www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices
We’d love to hear if you get a response. Email us at info@hardesthit.org.uk
Contact your local paper
You could contact your local paper to let them know why you are concerned about the cuts. Including information about your personal situation will make your story stronger, but please don’t include anything you wouldn’t be happy to read about yourself in the local paper. We have prepared a short guide to contacting the media.

Create a placard or poster
You can either use the one we’ve prepared or create your own from our template.
