North East Event: Sunderland Vigil

When: 26 October 2012, assemble at 6pm for vigil, entertainment and refreshments inside to follow Where: Pedestrianised area outside Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, Burdon Road, Sunderland

Join disabled people concerned about cuts to the vital support they rely on, each person attending to carry an electric light to show their concern before the regional march the next morning in Newcastle.

Discussing some of the impact of the reforms on people’s wellbeing, this event will also allow groups representing and working with disabled people to make their voice heard.
