The TUC Future that works March in London on 20 October will be a powerful demonstration of the strength of opposition that exists to the government’s welfare reforms
The march is scheduled to begin at 12 noon so aim to arrive at around 11:00. Hardest Hit campaigners will be assembling on Savoy Street at Victoria Embankment; the nearest station is Blackfriars although you can also use Southwark and St Pauls stations.

Hardest Hit campaigners will also be going on the Short March, the assembly point for this route is St James Street just off Piccadilly, nearest station Piccadilly Circus. The short march is scheduled to begin at 12:45 so please aim to arrive for about 11:45 as this will leave time for any delays in public transport.

The March will end at Hyde Park where the rally will begin and estimated to run up until 4pm. The rally will have a big stage with giant screens, and will be featuring speakers with some videos, and some surprises.

There will be a number of road closures throughout central London on 20 October so best to leave early to ensure you get to the assembly point in good time to begin your March for Change.
